RFIDeas Consulting was established in 2006 after the need for consulting and professional services
specific to RFID strategies, technologies, trials and solutions was identified.
RFID
Consulting’s Principal Consultant, Tony Edwards,
has a wide range of experience in RFID in terms of industries, applications, geography and
activities, including:

Technical lead for multiple series of trials conducted by Australia Post from 1998 to
2000.

Being employed by Symbol Technologies, leader in mobility technologies and Electronic Product CodeTM
(EPC) RFID, from 2001 until establishing RFIDeas Consulting.

Completing RFID technical training in the USA and Canada.
|

Supporting implementations and providing advice on RFID-based solutions in Australia, New
Zealand, Hong Kong, China and Canada.

|
Assisting installation, testing and tuning of EPC RFID equipment, and drafting the
operations manual for the Hong Kong International Airport baggage handling
system, the largest RFID deployment in Asia.

Designing the data capture component of the award winning* Northern
Herd Development milk sample testing system, combining RFID, bar coding, mobile
computers, and wireless local area networking.
